Twitterfeed - Automatic blog updates on Twitter

In my re-design session, I am integrating new tools to make my communications more effective and less time-consuming. Behold Twitterfeed, the service that pings your blog every now and then (you set the pinging frequency) and automatically post your new articles on your Twitter feed for all your followers to see it. The service is no news: Most top bloggers are already using it. Pro-blogger wrote about it in December 2007. But since I'm using the service, as a currency to pay for the service they offer for free and ad-free, I write an article about it.

Twitterfeed is not a revolution, but from a personal experience, I have experienced two situations that persuaded me to use such a service.

First, for my professional needs, I would often forget to warn my followers of new video interviews I posted. It's simple to put up a link on Twitter, and I guess that's why you easily forget about it.

Second, I was having coffee once with a top blogger. In the middle of our discussion, he/she had to drop the discussion to post on Twitter a link to an article that one of his/her writers just posted.

Twitter is such a phenomenon that any good online marketer has to go with Twitterfeed.
For info, there's a similar service to hook your blog to your Twitter stream, Twitback.
